What it is
Structure and lineage capture from Azure Synapse, handled through the Database (JDBC) connector against the Synapse SQL endpoint.
What Solidatus captures
Database structure (schemas, tables, views, columns, data types and key constraints), with SQL parsing available depending on the Synapse flavour in use.
What you need
- Network access to the Synapse SQL endpoint and a read-only user with data dictionary access.
- Which Synapse flavour is in scope: dedicated SQL pool, serverless (on-demand) SQL or Fabric Data Warehouse.
