What Solidatus captures
Schemas, tables, views, columns, data types, key constraints, and view column-level lineage.
What you need
- Network access to Impala and a user with read privileges on the databases and tables in scope. In practice the connector needs SELECT, INSERT or REFRESH on the relevant databases and tables so that DESCRIBE and SHOW statements succeed.
- Where Apache Ranger is used for authorization, those privileges are granted and revoked through Ranger.

Agent and Standalone mode and SOL.UIDs are both supported.
