Legacy Mainframe
Mainframes hold the records that matter most and document themselves least. Solidatus parses Legacy output and produces structure and lineage for systems that no other tool can reach.
What it is

What Solidatus captures
Layers, objects, attributes and transitions built from the parsed output, with properties attached to the generated entities.
What you need
- Output files produced by Legacy for the underlying domain systems, available on the connector host. Note the connector reads the Legacy output rather than each domain system export directly.
- Java 8 / JRE 8 on the connector host, rather than Java 17.
- A server administrator or someone who understands the target environment to own the initial setup. Involve the customer IT team early.
Good to know
Agent and Standalone mode are both supported and a Docker route is available. Mainframe output formats evolve, so we work through your Legacy output with you and shape the model around it. Very few tools can reach these systems at all.
