Microsoft Azure SQL
Cloud-managed does not have to mean opaque. Point Solidatus at Azure SQL and get an automatically maintained, column-level picture of how data moves through your managed estate.
What it is
The same structure, lineage and derivation capture as SQL Server, tuned for the Azure-managed service.
What Solidatus captures
Schemas, tables, views, temporary tables, external tables, columns, data types, primary and foreign keys, view and stored-procedure column-level lineage, and table and column derivation source code.
What you need
- Network access from the connector host to the Azure SQL logical server.
- A read-only user with access to data dictionary views, set up as for SQL Server.
Good to know
Agent and Standalone mode, SOL.UIDs and MultiDB models are all supported, with native documented Purview interoperability. Azure SQL Managed Instance behaves the same way as managed SQL Server.
