What you need
- Network access from the connector host to SQL Server. Current and recent releases are supported.
- A dedicated read-only login and database user, with SELECT on sys.objects, sys.sql_modules, sys.schemas, sys.columns and sys.synonyms, plus VIEW DEFINITION on the database.
- Your DBA creates the login and issues the grants once. We provide the exact script.
Good to know
Runs in Agent and Standalone mode, supports SOL.UIDs and MultiDB models, and has native, documented Microsoft Purview interoperability. A Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse can be mapped through its SQL Server endpoint as well.
