Experian and Solidatus join forces to deliver trusted, traceable data

New partnership brings Solidatus data lineage capabilities to Experian’s Aperture Data Studio, helping businesses understand whether their data can be trusted, its origins, and the impact it has on their organisation

London, 29 October 2026 – Experian and Solidatus have today announced a new partnership to give businesses greater confidence in their data, a clearer view of how data moves across their operations, and the ability to rapidly determine the potential impact and root cause of data issues.

Solidatus’ business and technical data lineage capabilities will be integrated into Aperture Data Studio, Experian’s data intelligence platform, which helps organisations understand, improve and govern their data so that it can be used with greater confidence across operational, analytical, regulatory and AI use cases.

By bringing together data quality, governance and lineage, the integration helps organisations build trusted data foundations for AI and enable more confident decision-making, faster innovation and greater trust in AI-driven outcomes.

The combination addresses a common challenge for organisations managing increasingly complex data estates: identifying that a data quality issue exists is often only the first step. Businesses also need to understand what the data means, whether it can be trusted, who is responsible for it, where it came from, which systems, reports or processes may be affected, and how best to remediate it. This becomes increasingly difficult as data moves across multiple platforms and legacy systems.
